Free Virtual Personal Financial Literacy Workshop: Wednesday, June 22nd from 10am-2pm EST (online via Zoom)

Join us for a free virtual Personal Financial Literacy workshop, sponsored by Fidelity Investments, the Council on Economic Education, and the Alpaugh Family Economics Center at the University of Cincinnati.

If you’ve participated in one of these PD sessions in the past, rest assured this is new content that will be paired with concepts and techniques to integrate in the classroom through live, virtual sessions with teaching experts and your peers.
This professional development program brings together the benefits of the in-person events while adapting to our virtual environment.

The experience will deliver:

– Essential content that helps teachers understand today’s economy;
– A live virtual panel with Fidelity experts to answer your questions;
– A variety of relevant resources, strategies and tools to use in the classroom.

Upon completion, you will feel confident you can capture students’ attention, and
develop an understanding of how money impacts students’ futures, while helping
students understand the economy of today.

One CEU (or your state equivalent) will be offered for completing the sessions.

At the conclusion of the workshop, we will draw the names of five participants, and those educators will win a $100 Amazon gift card each.

The agenda for the session and free registration are below. Once you’ve registered, we will follow up with more details and the link for the virtual session.
