$martPath in Spanish + $martPath 101: Online workshop on October 24th, 2023 from 4-5pm Eastern

$martPath (www.smartpathlearning.com) is our award-winning financial literacy teaching platform, designed for students in Grades K-8. All the content was developed to meet state content standards in Social Studies, Math, and ELA. We’re now proud to introduce $martPath in Spanish, a new offering that provides Spanish-language materials for students!

The Center’s Professional Development Director, Emily Schalk, will show educators how to use the new Spanish-language features, and will also lead a “$martPath 101” session, sharing an overview of the entire platform. Emily will show teachers how to navigate the $martPath platform, access assessments, and other valuable tools, and provide best practices for implementing the curriculum in the classroom. During this workshop, attendees will also learn about all the supplemental material that is offered in conjunction with the $martPath platform, including: puppet music videos, additional discussion questions, supplemental materials and more.

Attendees will receive a CEU certificate for one contact hour for participating in the workshop. Additionally, educators are eligible to earn $100 in Amazon gift cards. The first $50 Amazon gift card will be provided to you for (1) attending the workshop and (2) administering the pre-assessment to your students and answering the three teacher pre-assessment questions. An additional $50 Amazon gift card will be provided when you fully implement the curriculum in your classroom during the 2023-2024 academic year.
