The Alpaugh Family Economics Center and the Cincinnati Ethics Center invite teachers to a professional development workshop exploring how economics, money, technology, and ethics intersect in the decisions we make every day.

Participants will learn more about the Cincinnati Ethics Center and explore how educators can help students identify the values behind their decisions and develop and support reasons for what they think should be done.

Together, we’ll consider questions such as: What happens when the “best” economic choice isn’t necessarily the most ethical one? How do we navigate trade-offs, fairness, responsibility, competing values, and multiple perspectives when there is no simple answer?

Educators will leave with classroom-ready lessons, ethical case studies, and practical resources they can use to help students think critically about complex real-world choices involving money, economics, technology, and ethics.
