In celebration of Women’s History Month, this webinar will explore how we can leverage information from legitimate social media accounts to teach our students practical advice on budgeting, investing, saving, and debt management. I will use Nearpod to engage our educators in activities that share: a) Specific curated social media accounts that captivate our students; b) Ways to teach about how to be discerning about financial advice they see on socials; c) EdTech activities that we can use in the classroom to capitalize on social media; and d) We will finish the session by brainstorming ways we can incorporate social media in our classrooms.
